Solved the sweat problem, not just the grip problem

I have used four different grips on my DualSense and they all did the same thing — fine for an hour, then my palms sweat and the whole thing turns into a bar of soap. The open cells actually give the moisture somewhere to go. Four hours of Tarkov and my hands were still dry. The cell walls are sharper than I expected out of the box; they soften after a week.

Bought these for arthritis, they genuinely help

I have osteoarthritis in both hands and a bare DualSense becomes painful after about forty minutes. The extra 3 mm and the softer material spread the load across more of my palm and I can now play for two hours or so. I am not claiming it is medical, but it made a real difference for me.

I have thousands of hours on a bare DualSense and every grip I tried before this one threw my aim off for a week. Vapor is 1.4 mm and honestly after twenty minutes I stopped noticing it was there — except that my hand no longer slides. The node points do most of the work.

Same grip as Dark Matter, completely different object

I own both. Physically they perform identically — same 2.4 mm depth, same drainage, same break-in. Ember just has wider channels and the colour inverted so the web is what you see. If you wanted Dark Matter's performance without violet cells all over your controller, this is it.

The right amount of texture for long sessions

I tried Dark Matter first and it was too much for me — after five or six hours the cell edges left marks on my fingers. Volt has most of the grip with none of that. The finer cells are genuinely crisp, it looks moulded rather than printed.

You cannot tell they are on, which is the point

I did not want my controller to feel different, I just wanted it to stop being slippery. These are 0.9 mm so the shape is basically unchanged, and the white matches the stock DualSense white closely enough that people do not notice them.
